Testimonial

I can’t thank Dr George enough for his kind help and compassion when I had to have my darling boy of 16 years put to sleep. It was a day I have always dreaded, especially with the addition of the Covid restrictions taking him to a vet. Dr George was calm, compassionate and really cared about my boy. He was unhurried, respectful, and gave me the opportunity to say goodbye to my little treasure, in his bed, at home, being held by me. As devastated as I still am as he was a huge part of my life, the beautiful and calm way I could say goodbye has made the process of grieving for him so much less traumatic. I honestly cannot thank him enough for his help and kindness. I never thought the day would come but when it did I’m so glad I was able to call upon him. I cannot recommend Dr George highly enough. He was exceptional and I would absolutely recommend him. I left a review back in April when he sadly had to come to help my boy over rainbow bridge and have commented further up here. He’s very reliable and trustworthy and most importantly compassionate..

It was time for my Old boy max to fall asleep for the last time. He was diabetic, had cushings, a heart murmur and at the end was blind. He was 13 & 1/2 I had injected him twice a day for the past 4 years, nobody thought he would even last a year. Max always used to bark at anybody coming into the house but when George arrives max didn’t bark he smelt his trousers and wagged his tail for the last time. It was so peaceful as I carried max to the settee and sat with him for the last time. He just went to sleep and his face changed he looked like a young max again. Dr George respected max and it was just about max not me not my mum but just max which I couldn’t of asked for anymore then he did. It was almost not real, Dr George has a gift a special gift. I am so pleased and thankful that I found Dr George. Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart xx

Dear Dr George & Co,
Many thanks for helping me through the loss of my very special and loving dog Teddy. Your kindness and compassion throughout the visit to my home, at a time, that we all know has been very difficult with what's going on in the world at the moment. That day, I lost my best friend who had got me through a very difficult time after being very sick. I am forever grateful to you both for showing such empathy and love for my family in such sad circumstances. Thank you so much

Dear George,
I do want to thank you for the visit which you made to us Saturday morning when you drove to Derbyshire to see us. Mary and I are so grateful for compassion which you showed to Apollo and to us as well, of course. I am sure that such visits are difficult for you too, but you handled the matter with great professionalism and openness. You are very grateful to you for your ability to make an emotional and tense morning so much better than it could have been. I wish you every success as your practice continues to develop. With thanks again,

Dear Dr George
We cannot thank you enough for the care and compassion you gave our beautiful Victor today. As devastating as it was to say goodbye to him it meant the world that he was able to be in his own home with his family who adored him. A truly heartfelt thank you to you and your wife for giving up your Sunday.

Dear Dr George,
Thank you for your sensitivity in light of a very sad occasion yesterday. Kitten is still very much grief and tears for us. But having her at home and not taking her to the vet and all that noise and smell of fear and disease made a huge difference. She was on her bed in her favourite spot for the evening with her blanket and us.

Dear Dr George
Just wanted to take the time to say thank you for how you looked after us and Belle after we had to make the decision to let her go. To make the decision to be able to let her go in her own home was the best thing we could have done for her. Dr George was a lovely, compassionate man and made a very sad situation bearable. We have now had her ashes back, so she is home. Thank you so much once again.
